justskai Have you heard the news on Facebook and the changes in the APIs etc? I’m sure you have and basically, Facebook has been caught out for using everyone’s private information and sharing this with all other third parties e.g apps like LikeToKnow, Hootsuite and pretty much all popular websites that use Instagram and Facebook like tracking analytics etc. which are extremely important if not primarily features for many businesses. 🙈 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Facebook actually lost 3 billion in ONE DAY when it first happened and tbh who knows what’s next? Is it the end of Facebook? Or not? What’s going to happen? Currently websites such as Hootsuite (that I personally use for brands when scheduling their content) is under taking the changes and tbh reading on the changes that involve ‘not being able to mention / tag or find pages or people in a post’ or no longer will people’s names come up with the first letter - you’ll have to type up the whole thing - is it even going to offer the same services? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway I guess for now let’s be careful in investing into different analytics tools and apps until you know how much each platform is affected!
