michelleallegra 9 years, 6 pant sizes 👖, 3 degrees 🎓, 4 years of distance, countless obstacles, tears, and hugs and here we are to tell the tale. . They say in life certain things come when you least expect it and those things become the most magical. I was 16, not looking for a man (to be honest it was never really on my mind) when it hit me, that thing called love. Alec and I had gone to camp for years together and our love was kindled while working at summer camp. Needless to say we fell in love and that summer was the best summer I have ever had. There were no worries, no second guesses and no “where is this going.” It was just the two of us, chemistry and a lot of laughs (if you know Alec, he is the biggest joker I have ever met). There have been 9 years worth of road blocks, obstacles, hard times and dispare, but we have never lost sight of our love for eachother. I always say I may not get lucky a lot, but god blessed me with a beautiful partnership and a soulmate. The past 9 years, well I honestly dont know where they went. Its like the saying “if you love what you so you’ll never work a day in your life.” If you truly love who you are with, you never see the time fly. There aren’t too many things in my life currently that I am sure of (as some of you may know), but my love for you has never been a question.
